Big data is a term that describes the large volume of data – both structured and unstructured – that inundates a business on a day-to-day basis. But it’s not the amount of data that’s important. It’s what organizations do with the data that matters. Big data can be analyzed for insights that lead to better decisions and strategic business moves. The focus area of this study is on various Data Mining Techniques in a Cloud Big Data Environment. Due to the large sized datasets related to Cloud Big Data, normal data mining techniques are not sufficient to generate important insights. Therefore, it is essential to comparatively analyze different data mining techniques to process the large sized datasets. Further, it also provides a solution model which is an enhancement over the present data mining techniques. This solution model provides ideal data mining with respect to the Cloud Big Data. In addition to that, the proposed solution model will incorporate the use of combination of different data mining techniques. Clustering and Classification in the first step, and Predictive data mining in the second, to collaboratively provide an enhanced data mining solution for Cloud Big Data.
